Paul Cruickshank
Paul is a founding Director of Spectrum Lighting and Sound, starting way back when 500w flood lights and Par64 cans were the go-to lights. Needless to say the Spyro effects lights were brand new and not 15 years old! Paul is a registered electrician with 20+years experience in the events industry, starting out by installing temporary power supplies then moving to lighting and finally to sound where he finds himself the most comfortable. Paul has worked on many shows, both local and touring shows. One could say he was a jack of all trades but the master of none. He still loves to plug in power lock or xlr and to be out with the boys.
When Paul is not working he loves to snag a nice kingie or a salmon as fishing is one of his favourite hobbies. Paul is married with two teenage daughters who also keep him on his feet.
Being the “Captain” of the ship has its challenges but with a great team around him he stays afloat.
